The rehabilitation of this downtown Madrid apartment worked miracles, both for the surprising sensation of spaciousness and for the empowerment of the natural light. The designer Nacho Olive, of Interior Design, initiated the change by demolishing all possible walls, to start from a diaphanous plant that he distributed again with the help of the company Betrasam. The owner, a young and single man, requested cleared spaces, masculine and with lots of natural light. In line with this request, the house today has a distribution based on the traditional planning of a single apartment, with a single bedroom, a bathroom and a very spacious living room.
As a resource to delimit the common spaces it surprises the original enclosure that makes the kitchen independent; It is a lightweight metal structure, with Sliding door Y large glass panels transparent, which acts as a barrier to prevent the exit of smoke and odors, but that maintains the visual unity. Another basic concept after the reform is the decorative continuity, which was achieved in part thanks to the maintenance of identical finishes throughout the structure; highlights the elegant oak floor chosen for the whole house, in contrast to the broken white of the walls - even the kitchen and bathroom tiles - in all spaces, except the bedroom, in a very attractive mink tone, ideal for a male room.
The decorative success of the bedroom is based on the appropriate selection of two unique colors for the whole environment: white as a finish for furniture and carpentry, and a suggestive mink tone on the walls and bedding. Also the only bathroom in the house enjoys a bold, careful and resounding interior design thanks to the mix of colors; in this case black and white accompanied by marked invoice details vintage.Advertising - Keep reading under Tableware with Christmas decorations
