An urban flat, located in the neighborhood of Gracia, in Barcelona, in a 1970 building, it has been transformed after an integral intervention in a modern, practical and bright house. The project of reform and decoration has been commissioned by the company Hogara, which found an outdated home. The objective was to adapt the spaces and finishes to the needs of the new owners, a couple with two small children.
The new project modifies the distribution of spaces to make the meters profitable and create more logical environments. The 70 square meters are organized in living room with dining room and integrated kitchen, terrace, three bedrooms (one of them type suite room) and two bathrooms.
As for the decoration, a contemporary style has been created with wood and white as the protagonists. The gray complement. To highlight: the bookcase furniture designed by the company in charge of the work and that runs through the entire corridor and sneaks into the living room. It responds to the need of the owners' warehouse and at the same time hides some strutural pillars of the house that follow each other in the corridor.
